10kV Distribution Transformer

Our 10kV oil-immersed distribution transformers – covering S11, S13, SH15, S18, S20, and S22 efficiency models – are built to handle the wide variety of grid conditions you’ll find around the world. They come in ratings from 30 to 4000 kVA, with primary voltages from 6 to 10 kV and secondary at 0.4 kV, and they work on both 50 and 60 Hz. Connection groups and tap ranges are flexible, so we can match your project’s specific needs. The whole line is designed to IEC 60076, and if your market calls for UL or CE, we can adapt the design to get those marks – making them ready for North America, Europe, and other international projects.

On the manufacturing side, we start with high-permeability grain-oriented silicon steel and a 45° full-miter core joint design. High-voltage coils are wound automatically, low-voltage foils get automatic foil winding with argon-shielded internal welding – that cuts both no-load and load losses, while giving the transformer strong short-circuit withstand capability and rock-solid running stability. The tank is fully sealed with corrugated walls, and we use vacuum drying and vacuum oil filling to drive out any internal moisture, keeping the insulation reliable over the long haul. That solid foundation lets us customize for different regions without compromising quality.

Non-standard voltages: We can tailor primary voltages (like 11 kV, 13.8 kV) and secondary voltages (like 220V, 380V, 400V, 415V, 480V) to match your actual grid.

Upgraded insulation: For high-altitude, high-humidity, or heavily polluted areas, we can push insulation levels above standard specs and use tougher materials and bushings.

Custom corrosion protection: Coatings range from C3 up to C4 or C5-M for coastal or industrial zones, backed by hot-dip galvanized hardware and special seals – so the unit holds up in tropical heat, freezing cold, salt spray, or desert sand.

We also offer on-load or off-load tap changing, different cooling methods (ONAN or ONAF), and tank structure variations – all designed around your specific operating conditions.
